Cellular Automaton (CA) Model

• road: a link of cells (sites)
• states of cells: 0 (empty), 1 (occupied)
• states of vehicles : 0, 1, 2, ..., Vmax
• each vehicle occupies only one cell and moves between cells
• movement occurs in discrete time steps
